Names, logos, signatures and ownership: the details that make team email recognizable.
Give each person a clear address
A custom-domain mailbox helps a recipient recognize the company behind a message. Use a naming convention staff can remember and consider role aliases such as accounts@ or support@ for shared responsibilities. An alias routes to a mailbox; it does not necessarily create a separate account, storage allocation or sign-in.
Connect the domain in your private workspace
Only authorized workspace administrators and the BITTU team can inspect or verify your domain's DNS in the platform. The private wizard provides the records for your domain. Keep a copy of existing mail records before changing providers, and coordinate the switch with anyone responsible for the old mail service. Public visitors cannot run account DNS diagnostics.
Add the human details
Open Profile from your mailbox to edit your display name, upload a photo and write a signature. The sender name is included on new outgoing messages. Use a concise signature: name, role, company and an appropriate contact method. Workspace owners and administrators can also update the company display name and logo without changing the legal entity on billing records.
Understand where pictures appear
A profile photo and company logo can be shown inside BITTU Mail. External inboxes independently decide which avatars and brand logos they display; attaching a logo to your account cannot force Gmail or Outlook to show it. Brand indicators may require separate verified arrangements and recipient support.
Make account ownership deliberate
Give administration rights only to people who need them. Enable two-factor authentication, keep recovery details current and review access when staff leave. Do not share one password among a team. Ask support for help when you need to transfer ownership or resolve a domain conflict.
